*Medicare Telehealth Changes

From November 2025, Medicare is updating the eligibility criteria for telehealth rebates.

To receive a Medicare rebate for a telehealth consultation, patients must have had a face-to-face appointment within the past 12 months with the same practice.

If this requirement is not met, telehealth appointments will still be available, however they will be 100% privately billed.

To continue accessing rebated telehealth services, we encourage patients to book an in-person consultation if possible.
